Most everyone qualifies. However there are a few conditions which would disqualify a patient. These are: A history or family history of thyroid cancer Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia types 2A or 2B A history of pancreatitis Women who are pregnant or are planning pregnancy in the near future Some with severe gastrointestinal diseases Some medications may need to be adjusted, specifically other GLP-1 medications. If you book at one of our clinics, you come for one visit only. Here, we educate you on how to administer your shot yourself, answer any questions, and give you a free shot*. If you book virtually, you never have to come in. You simply have your appointment online on your scheduled day/time. *Free shot is in-person only.

Your medication is ordered and shipped to your house. You take it weekly for 4 weeks, during which we re-bill you and ship your next vial. Our nurses reach out consistently to ensure you're hitting your targets and to address any barriers. In the meantime, we are available for questions/issues.

The effects of the medication begin immediately after use. Patients usually notice a decrease in appetite the following day. It’s common to have lost pounds by the first week. Our minimum goal for you is 10% weight reduction by the end of 4 months.

There are no contracts or commitment requirements. All plans are month to month and can be leveled up/down as needed. We occasionally run promotions, so keep an eye out. You can lock in special prices/bonuses if join during those times!

Insurances almost never cover weight loss programs, and we do not accept any insurance. We can, however, provide you with a document to assist in submitting for reimbursement through your insurance company. HSA programs often do qualify for this (check with your HSA provider).

Side effects are typically gastrointestinal. Patients can experience mild to moderate nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, heartburn, belching, gas. Lightheadedness or dizziness can occur as well. Many patients, however, experience no symptoms whatsoever! We work hard to titrate the dose to the appropriate level for your specific body, and most symptoms can be treated with over the counter medication.

That is understandable. Thankfully, our needles are some of the smallest manufactured. Many patients don’t even feel the injection. Oral versions of these medications simply don’t work as well as the weekly injections. Patients quickly get used to the shots, and are actually happy that they don’t have to remember a daily pill.
