Ozempic, the name brand version of Semaglutide, began experiencing shortages in late 2022. This drug is specifically approved for diabetes, but was being used and prescribed for weight loss. As it became known how successful those on Semaglutide were with losing weight, more and more people began taking the drug. This, along with supply chain issues, caused a shortage in the drug Ozempic.
Unfortunately, many diabetic people on Ozempic were suddenly without the drug that helps them with their insulin and blood sugar levels. Multiple media sources therefore used this as a way to paint those using the drug for weight loss as the bad guys. It’s our opinion, however, that that view is insufficient and myopic.
There is enough to go around!
What hasn’t been discussed is the fact that those struggling with obesity are often prediabetic, and are the very people who will need the drug later if they don’t use it now. Obesity itself is a disease that affects every part of the body. Losing even 10 pounds can have a tremendous impact on a person's quality of life. Imagine what losing 70 pounds would do? Or 120? Or more?
We have seen that kind of weight loss on those using regular Semaglutide injections. That kind of weight loss will prevent knee surgeries, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, decrease chronic inflammation, decrease chronic pain, eliminate sleep apnea and the effects associated with it, improve quality of life, improve length of life, and that’s just to list a few benefits!
And there is enough to go around!
Ozempic has experienced a shortage, but because you don’t need the name brand in order to access the drug, we’ve been able to provide Semaglutide to the masses at affordable prices! Together, we can reverse the effects of both type II diabetes and the many other symptoms of chronic obesity in America.
